• Brother Adam plays football for Dixie State in 2007 and was the leading rusher
• Played for Taylor Baseball in the summer of 2006, batting .339 with eight homers and led team with 27 stolen bases
• Batted .331 in 178 at bats for his team in the Northwest Connie Mack League in the summer of 2005
• Recruited by Hawai`i, Washington, Washington State and Portland
• Maternal great uncle Allie Reynolds pitched for the Cleveland Indians (1942-46) and the New York Yankees (1947-54)
• Served a volunteer two-year mission for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in Puerto Rico/San Juan West (Spanish-speaking)
• Married Valeria Buitrago Padgett in December 2010
• Majoring in exercise science

• Three-time all-league at Inglemoor High
• Voted most inspirational player on team as a senior
• Clocked 6.6 in the 60 and had a .392 batting average as a senior
• Lettered three years in baseball and twice in football
• Was all-league as a defensive back as a sophomore and junior
• Was rookie of the year in football as a sophomore
• Coached by Craig Bishop and Rob Lucky
